• The Organic Trade Board launches UK Organic and announces plans for the organic sector in the UK (March 2024)
• The Environmental Working Group in the US reports on test results that show the harmful weed killer glyphosate is more present than some vitamins in samples of popular oat-based breakfast cereals 
• A recent study published by Bio Eco Actual discovered that 60% of children in Spain have traces of diazinon, an illegal pesticide, in their urine samples
• A report from DEFRA on pesticide residues finds that 97% of non-organic apples tested contained pesticides.
• In its latest yearbook "The World of Organic Agriculture" BIOFACH announces the global organic farming area increases to 96m hectares and the number of organic producers exceeds 4.5m. It also identifies the top three largest organic markets in the world as the USA (€56.6bn), Germany (€15.3bn) and China (€12.4bn)

• Natural & Organic Products Europe, ExCel London 14th-15th April.....see you there!!
• Food and Agriculture Organization World Bee Day is 20th May 
• Natural & Organic Asia is scheduled to take place in Hong Kong 3rd-5th September and is set to welcome 5,000 buyers through its doors reflecting the rising demand for natural and organic products in Asia
• International Organic Day is September 22nd
• Natexpo, the internation​al trade show for organic products is expecting around 2,500 exhibitors in Lyon on 23rd-24th September
